How to delete / remove my account?

To delete your account on the Prop.com platform, go to settings and request your account deletion.

Here is an overview of the account deletion process:

  1. Prior to the account deletion process, it is necessary to ensure that all balances and investments are reduced to zero.

  2. To initiate the account deletion process, kindly navigate to your account and select profile. You will then be able to locate the "Delete Account" button.

  3. Compliance team will verify on legal requirements and process your request for account deletion within 10 business days.

  4. The account will be permanently deleted, However, Prop.com is required to store data for a certain duration as mandated by regulatory requirements stated below.

Note: This action is irreversable! If you wish to open a new account after deleting a previous account, please reach out to our support team.

For regulatory reasons the following retention periods are kept. Following the conclusion of a business relationship or the execution of a monetary operation, the below-listed data and records must be retained for a minimum of 8 years:

  • Copies of customer identity documents.

  • Identity data of beneficial owners.

  • Identity data of beneficiaries.

  • Direct video streaming/broadcasting recordings.

  • Other data received while establishing customer identity.

  • Account and/or agreement documentation.

  • Documents confirming a monetary operation or transaction and other legally binding documents and data related to the execution of monetary operations or conclusion of transactions.

Following the conclusion of a business relationship or the execution of a monetary operation or activity, the below-listed data and records must be retained for a minimum of 5 years:

  • Business correspondence with the customer.

  • Records of investigations on SARs/STRs.

  • Data on AML training undertaken by staff, including the date and results.

The aforementioned time limits may be extended by up to 2 additional years upon receiving a reasoned instruction from a competent authority.

Upon reaching the end of the mandated retention period, all of your data will be wiped.
